Some really nice graphicy pieces by this man, Born in Kanagawa, Japan. His work is compared a lot to japanese woodcuts.
Love the skeleton lines of the above ruffle, and how whole areas of line are missed out in the marie-antoinette style one on top. Amazing how a few lines can suggest form, texture, lightness...
